Caulking Done Right, Every Time
Trueline Caulking is a family-owned caulking and sealing business serving homeowners, builders, and property managers across Melbourne Wide.
Meet the Owner
Richard De Melo founded Trueline Caulking and leads every project personally, bringing 22 years of industry experience to each job across Melbourne.
Our History
Trueline Caulking is a family-owned business built on hands-on trade experience. It filled a gap for property owners who needed precise, long-lasting sealant work rather than generic handyman patch jobs. Over time, demand grew beyond the original service area, and Trueline Caulking now covers Melbourne Wide. That growth has come through consistent workmanship rather than volume for its own sake.
Why Richard Started Trueline
Richard De Melo spent years working in the trade before deciding to start Trueline Caulking. He had seen too many jobs rushed through as quick patch-work, only to fail within a year or two. That experience drove him to build a business centered on precision and durability rather than speed alone, and it still shapes how every job is run today, from the first assessment to the final bead.
Hands-On Experience You Can Verify
Richard De Melo brings 22 years of hands-on industry experience to every caulking and sealing project. Trueline Caulking is a family-run operation where the owner is personally involved in the work rather than delegating to subcontractors.
How We Work With You
Relationship-Driven
We get to know your property and your priorities, so every quote and every job reflects how you actually use the space.
Proactive, Not Reactive
We flag early signs of sealant failure before they become water damage, instead of waiting for a callback.
Full Ownership
If something about the finish isn't right, we come back and fix it — the job isn't done until the seal is right.
Fast, Clear Communication
You'll know what's happening, when we're arriving, and what the job involves, with no run-around.
Where We Work
Trueline Caulking services residential and commercial properties Melbourne Wide, from single-home jobs to multi-level commercial sites.
Pricing depends on the scope and condition of the area being sealed. Every job starts with an assessment so you get a quote based on your property, not a generic rate card.
